Really annoyed that the Apple Pencil 2 has scratched my iPad Pro. In just 4 weeks. 😬
I've been using my Apple Pencil on my iPad Pro 11 for months now and no scratches have appeared. Have you looked to see if the tip has been in any way chipped, exposing metal?

It is possible to scratch the screen if a bit of grit gets caught between the pencil and the glass. I always make sure that the glass is clean and the pencil tip is clean before using.
It’s a brand new iPad Pro and pencil. Apple confirmed the pencil is fine. But there is no other way the screen could have scratched. I’m super careful and only user. Has a cover on it since day 1. I’ve had several iPads and iPhones and never had scratches, cracks or damage or seen anything like it before. All my Apple products are in immaculate condition years after buying. The only new thing here is the pencil. Which I love but not that it scratches the glass.
Yes. So do I. I always check and keep screen clean as I can’t stand a dirty, greasy or dusty screen. I blow any dust and particles off. Always wipe pencil tip too.
