Activity App accuracy

Apple activity app is the worst tracking app I've ever seen. it tracks workout correctly but the exercise time never come to true however both of them in one app.I do reset fitness calibration data for my apple watch but this didn't help.

The Watch exercise minutes are not equal to regular time minutes as in so far to earn them you have to do a brisk walk it get your heart rate up. The Watch uses your age sex height and weight and most of important your hear rate to award exercise minutes. I for example use my bike for 2 1/2 hours and only get credited for 88 exercise minutes. Recalibrating your Watch only sets it back so you have to do another 20 minutes walk/ run. If you can understand this then please call Apple support. Took a-bit to get used how it works.

Yes if you look at you heart rate on the 30th April it is consistently high And thus you are working out a pace. So that appears to work as it should. The heart rate for the 2nd May it is up and down. So it recorded as a full brisk walk. Added to the fact the more you do the more the Watch makes it a little harder to gain those exercise minutes! As it learns your routine.
