Apple Watch 4 issue, trouble using data with UK vodaphone in Spain

Just purchased Apple Watch and a contract from Vodaphone UK. No data calls are showing as available here in Spain? Was assured by vodaphone that the watch would be supported by roaming here. Can someone please help?

Roaming with Apple Watch UK contract (with Vodafone) but roaming in Switzerland I would like to know if it is possible to use cellular (from my UK Vodafone plan with data) when roaming in Switzerland (where I spend A LOT of time, probably more than the UK). I Donny particularly care if I can use my watch on cellular in the UK as well. What should I do?

Vodaphone is the one you have to resolve this with, not Apple.

Currently no Apple Watch supports roaming. The Watch will work just like a gps model.
