Find my phone

While using the app it first told me my device was in location “a” drove to location app told me I was standing on top of device, rebooted device restarted find my phone and it gave me location “b” went to location- it was the middle of a field walked out till I was on top of device, asked it to play a sound- nothing. How can I acquire a good location for this device?

I have tracked it to a block of flats and can get close enough so my iPhone picks up on its location by Bluetooth proximity in the find my app. But I can’t play a sound to help me locate it further and I can’t set it as lost because both of these actions require an internet connection. Find my iPhone I've lost my phone. On find my iPhone the last location was 4:14am and it hasn't updated since. However, it is allowing me to play a sound on the phone so it mustn't be out of battery. Does anyone know why the location isn't updating if it still has battery?

find my worked but only for a few seconds My iphone was lost and I turned on find my and it was not showing on the map. Then it popped up for only a few seconds about ten miles away. How do I find that location again?
