apple ID from an old laptop

Years ago I copied the hard drive from an old laptop to a new laptop. The old laptop had iTunes library from an old email account and now the songs are not authorized for this laptop. Is there any way to fix that?

I can't authorize my computer because I don't know my old itunes account password My external hard drive which had all my itunes music on crapped out and was unable to retrieve my songs from it. Years went by and I started a new account as the old email address was no longer in use. I managed to import all the songs from my ipod to my computer and link them up with new account. Unfortunately they were purchased under my old ID. They are in my library but have to authorize the computer using the old ID which i forgot the password to. Even when I use the forgot password and forgot ID link it says nothing exist for either one. I am in a position now where I can't authorize my computer. Anyone know how to fix this?

Can't play previously purchased music from my 2002 PC I am trying to play apple purchases from my old pc (2002). It wants my old email address, associated with that computer, and password which I provided. When I do that it says that I already have five accounts associated with the old email and password. What can I do? Thank you.
