iPhone X Wireless Charging Not Working

When I got my iPhone X in July 2018 I also got a wireless car charger and holder. Although the charger works, I noticed initially there was not enough power to charge the iPhone, so I got a new power adaptor, and that did the job.

I started to notice though the iPhone X would randomly charge whilst on the holder, and now it doesn't work at all. I suspect this may be an iPhone X issue, as it went completely dead after a recent IOS upgrade.

I wondered if anyone else has seen this type of issue, other than getting a new wireless charger I have no way to understand where the issue may be.

Any ideas / tips would be great.
