Headphones

My headphones won’t work when I plug them into my iPad , but they will work if I plug them into something else . I tried other headphones and nothing will work . I won’t get any sound .

Sound comes out of the device not the headphones My headphones are connected to my device. But, the sound comes out of the device not the headphones. Does that mean the headphones are destroyed or is there a way to fix this? Because they were working just fine yesterday. Thank you [Re-Titled by Moderator]
