How do I share just one folder on high sierra not the entire computer

When I try to share just one folder on my mac pro with High Sierra, by default it shares my whole computer even the MacOS disk and I cannot find a way to do otherwise.

Why is that? How can I do?

Mac Pro, macOS 10.13

File Sharing is really just logging into the Mac.

if the sharing user has an account on that Mac, they will have the same access as if they were logged into their account on that Mac.

If if you need to give someone without an account access to something, create a Sharing Only user account and give them the necessary access in the Sharing System Prefs
