icon movement

I can't get the icons on my iPhone 8 to jiggle. If I hold my finger on an icon I get a drop down menu for that app. How do I group or move icons?

iOS Home Page icon Placement When I try to place Home Screen icons on my iOS devices the screen goes nuts and moves all of the icons in a way that makes it impossible to place things where I want them to be. Icons swirl around and end up in nonsense places or pop to the next screen so I have to chase after them and bring them back to the screen I was working on. Is there a method to move ONLY the icon that I want to move without the wacky screen dance happening every time? Thanks, Pete D.

Icons on home screen How to keep my icons from moving around on home screens by themselves on iphone 13. Do you have a way to lock the icons? I do not need them to move. I know how to move them if I want them moved, but they are moving by themselves.

If you are getting a menu, you are pressing too hard.

On devices with 3D touch pressing down hard will activate the 3D touch menu.

Tap and lightly hold on the icon, but do not press down on it.
