Missing FAX functionality from MacOS Mojave

The only way I found to send fax in MacOS Mojave is via Microsoft Word. There is still the option "recipient settings" when you want to send a fax.

In PDF Preview the functionality misses. Is that a bug or will be Apple fix it?

Simple way to fax from my Mac? I feel like I'm in a time machine, but I have two insurance companies I deal with that occasionally require me to fax stuff in. I don't have a fax machine or a direct phone line I can access. So, is there a cheap and easy way to send a fax from my Mac, i.e., a PDF or Word doc? I've done some searching and most solutions are subscription services which is way overkill for the 2-3 times a year that I need to do this. Any ideas that are quick and easy? Thanks.

Apple dropped Fax modem support as of OSX Sierra. You may want to look at this page for some options.
