I cant send imessages, and I am not receiving text messages of any kind. I can send regular text messages only, but when others respond I dont receive it (whether it's an imessage or text). Just started yesterday. I have restarted phone, reset network, etc. When I go to settings and click on imessages it just says "waiting for activation." I also logged out of my apple ID on the phone and logged back in. Nothing has helped.

I am having the same issue. iMessages and FaceTime are not working since yesterday. I called this morning and was told that this is an issue that started Saturday with iPhone 6S. I was told that they are working on it and it could take a few days. I am not happy. My son is away at college and the cell phone reception is poor. The only way I can contact him is through iMessage and FaceTime audio. I can see if this takes one or two days to fix, but not several days.
