Suddenly I’m not receiving texts from other iPhone users. So it seems to be a problem with iMessage. It says “waiting for activation”. It’s been like this for more than 24 hours. I’ve turned my phone off and on, turned iMessage off and on. Nothing works. I’m receiving texts from non-iPhones just fine. And I’m able to send texts just fine. What do I do now?

When you say “turned iMessage off and on” what do you mean?
Try these steps to help fix the problem. Go to settings>messages
1: make sure iMessage is toggled ON (green)
2: make sure the phone number in “send and receive” is correct
3: make sure “send as sms when iMessage unavailable” is toggled ON
4: turn off “unknown and spam” in message filtering
5: if you have a Mac, log into it and see if the messages from iPhone users are being received there on the messages app. If so, then turn off HANDOFF in settings>General and see if you recieve the iPhone users messages on your phone.
If nothing works, then try resetting the phone. Make sure you backup it up first. If that fails then contact your cellular provider.
