Trouble receiving and sending mail

I cannot receive or send emails the message on my phone and ipad is the mail server "imap.aol.com is not responding

iPhone XR, iOS 12

  1. Update your device’s software
  2. Force stop and restart the app
  3. Delete the app and install it again
