Siri keeps spelling my name wrong.

My name on my contact card is spelt correctly, but when i ask Siri to pronounce it or when she just says my name in general, she pronounces it Alisa instead of Alyssa. (My name is not pronounced the typical way, it's pronounced Uh-lee-suh, instead of Uh-lis-uh) I've tried multiple times to "teach" her the right pronunciation for my name, but it's always spelt wrong or she tells me she can't help me and it just bothers me. I want her to say it right and still have the spelling I use. HELP ME!

On your contact card, you can Edit then add field for Phonetic or Pronunciation.

Hello. Not sure what steps you’ve taken to teach Siri but have you tried saying ‘Hey Siri what’s my name?’

Then when she says your name (presumably the wrong way) say ‘Hey Siri that’s not how you pronounce Alyssa’.

Siri should then ask you how to pronounce it and give you a few options to listen to, picking the one that is correct. You may need to repeat this a few times until it gets it exactly right.

Apologies if this is what you’ve already tried.
