For the last month or so a folder named 'Blob Storage' has been re-appearing on my startup disk in the Finder. I throw it away and empty the trash, but it keeps coming back. I'm having the same problem with two files named 'GPU cache' and 'cache.db'. Does anyone know what's going on?

After emptying the Trash, have you tried restarting the computer?

Blob Storage is a Microsoft thing. Find it on your hard drive and delete it.

The cache files will always rebuild.

Just don't do the last step as you don't want to reset it.
