Unable to Access iTunes Store on MacAir Mojave 10.14.4--Just hangs when trying to login to my Apple ID

I can launch iTunes, but cannot actually log into my account. After I select login, I type my Apple ID and password and at the top of the iTunes browser it says {for you} "Accessing iTunes Store" and just gets stuck like that. Runs for hours and never connects. I am ok logging onto my account from my iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, just not this one laptop.

Hmm, not sure that I know, but another user with similar symptoms mentioned that Apple Support had him check for and remove malware. You could give https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/ a shot and see what it comes up with.

I'm having this same problem. I can open the App Store and Books with no problem -- I can sign out and sign back in, see previous purchases, etc. This is isolated to the iTunes Store.

I am able to access my iTunes Store account in Safe Mode, though. So, I have turned off ALL login/startup items, but the situation remains the same.

What do I do next?
