Apple folio keyboard cover. Magnetic question!

Hi there all, I am looking at ordering the new Apple folio keyboard for my iPad Pro gen 3 and was wondering; when you have the iPad open and the iPad is in 'sitting' in the groove to allow you to type, is it magnetically held in position so if you picked up the ipad from the top of the unit (from a desk for example) would the keyboard part of the case flop down or would it stay in position as if it was still on a flat surface?

Thanks for reading.

Thank you. Yes i know the Apple version is expensive (but that’s normal for Apple; everything they make is expensive) and lacks some features but I want one that is extremely thin, lightweight and doesn’t need batteries or recharging and of course is magnetic when it is in typing mode so it’s probably my only choice. My last iPad (iPad Air 2 (2013) is 6 years old, still works relatively well (just a bit slow with some of the latest Apps which also drain the battery really quickly) and will last a few more years I’m sure, so in the grand scheme of things I’ll get my moneys worth out of a £199 keyboard if I keep it 10 years.
