Trying to decide on a keyboard to get with a new iPad Pro purchase. Since the magic keyboard doesn't open and fold backwards like other folios do, if I remove the iPad, close the magic keyboard and lay the iPad on the top WILL IT MAGNETICALLY CONNECT TO THE OUTSIDE to hold it in place?

From what I understand, I would say no, as the magnets are on the inside of the case, not outside, the only way to connect the iPad to the keyboard is to connect it the way shown in the images and videos
