IPhone X ‚ghost Touch Screen issue‘

Yesterday I was in the Apple Store to fix the ‚ghost touching problems‘.

After checking my iPhone X with the diagnostic tool without an error message, Apple offered me to replace the display with a charge of 279,- US-$.

I didn’t accept that offer because Apple admits iPhone X users to replace the ‘ghost touch’ screen with no charges.

But the store denied that. What’s going wrong? The display is not broken, the hardware test shows nothing. The display is transacting by his own.

Did anyone have had the same experiences and have anyone experiences by changing the screen that the ‘ghost touch issue’ is fixed?

Many thanks for your help! Juergen

Your phone may qualify for this: https://www.apple.com/support/iphone-x-display-module-replacement-program/

Do note that you need to go to an Apple store or Authorized Service Provider for the work and that service for an iPhone is often restricted to the country of purchase. If you bought your phone in another country, you need to return there to get it fixed.
