I am wanting to purchase an iPod touch just want to verify before making a purchase that I can download my music from Apple Music to a iPod touch I bought an iPod nano yesterday and tried to do this on my Apple Music and it wouldn’t let me I google searched this topic and it said that the iPod touch is the only one you can sync to your Apple Music just want to verify this before making purchase
An old iPod Nano is just a digital music/video player with no iOS system of smart features with no access to the Internet and needs iTunes on a computer to transfer and sync any music/video content.
You need either a 2012 iPod Touch 5th generation OR the latest iPod Touch 6th generation to use ALL of the features of the Apple Music app.

It would need to be at least a fifth generation iPod touch model based on the original system requirements, or a sixth generation one for the current iOS requirement.
