I bought both Iphone and Apple Watch 4 in Hong Kong. I live in the Philippines. I read that ECG should work based on where you purchased the device, is that correct? So it should work regardless where I am at? How can I get it to work?

Yes you are correct. You can currently only use it for Ecg in the country you purchased it on. No you cannot change it to make it work.
So it should work since i bought the watch from HK. But it’s not working and im getting not available in your region. How can I make it work? I should activate it first in HK?
