Menu Bar

Hello. Relatively new to Macs and I'm wondering if there is a way to control where my menu bar is located on my screen, and more specifically if it is possible to view the menu bar for more than one application at a time. For example, is there a way to split my screen so that I could have MS Excel on the left, with the File, Edit, View etc. attached to the rest of the Excel screen, and Vectorworks on the right side of my screen with it's corresponding menu bar attached to the Vectorworks screen. Then, If I have my cursor on the right side of my page, and I want to do something in VectorWorks using File, Modify, etc. I do not have to 1) click on VectorWorks to activate the menu bar and then 2) move my cursor aaaaallllll the way up to the upper left corner of the overall screen, above where I have my Excel page, to make whatever selections I want to make in VectorWorks.

Therefore, 100% of Excel on the left side of my screen and 100% of VectorWorks on the right side of my screen.

Thanks!

No.

One menu bar is fixed to the top, and the application hugs the left side—this is baked in.

Split screen allows for side by side

Use two Mac apps side by side in Split View - Apple Support

In this split screen/full screen mode the active window has the corresponding menu bar for that app.

Click anywhere in the window makes it the active window.
