com.apple.commerce.client error 500.

I have the following client error 500 up when I try to download and install programs from Apple Store.


Does anyone know how to fix com.apple.commerce.client error 500., please?

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities! I understand you're unable to download apps from the App Store on your Mac, as you're receiving an error message.


I suggest ensuring your Mac has that latest version of macOS. If an update is needed, I suggest backing up your data with Time Machine prior to updating. You can see those steps from the following support articles: How to update the software on your Mac & Back up your Mac with Time Machine
