serial number not valid

hello.. I'm already checking my MacBook serial in apple website.. but show not valid.. WHY

Make sure that you're not typing the letters I and O instead of the numbers 1 and 0.

If you are sure that you are entering the correct serial number for your Mac notebook, then it may be possible that this device was reported as lost or stolen to Apple.
