Invalid Serial number
I have the serial number for the Macbook Air but when I enter it into the Apple support request it says it is invalid. Who can check the serial number and help me out?
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.14

You can call Apple Support, which you may have needed to do anyway for an issue this advanced.

But before I can talk with them the request page asks for the serial number and then we stick there. On an external site I can enter this serial number and it shows the Macbook with all the specs correctly. I don't understand why a number created by Apple is then not recognized.
Hello!
If your serial number isn't recognized, you need to contact Apple Support for help:

Also, I can't call them. I don't have a phone - really.
