F1,F2,F3,F4,F7, F8,F9,F10,F11,F12 shortcut are not working on Cinema 4d Mac

F1,F2,F3,F4,F7, F8,F9,F10,F11,F12 shortcut are not working on Cinema 4d Mac

So the for Cinema 4D on Mac the shortcuts is that F7 Stop, F8 Play forwards, F9 Record active, objects, Ctrl F9 Autokeying, etc.

But Somehow I just can't get F7, F8,F9 to work. These three keys only does the features printed on each key. So they only control the music play or like Youtube play, they don't even work as the shortcut in the system preferences list such as control+F8 move focus to statues menu, F11 show desktop...

nothing works when it comes to these F keys only the features printed on each them.

Did I miss anything? Is there any way I can fix it? Any thoughts?

iMac Pro, macOS 10.13

Do they work when you hold the "fn" key? If you want them to work as standard function keys, enable "Use F1, F2, etc. keys…" in System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard.

You're welcome. If you want to use them as normal function keys you can change the setting I mentioned in System Preferences but then you need to use the "fn" key for what's printed on them. Assuming you are using an Apple Keyboard.
