Apple ID Being Used by Another Family - HELP :(

Hi! I am trying to setup family sharing on my new XR. Both my children have iPad Airs. When I go to do so it says the following error:

Your Apple ID is Being Used By Another Family

Your iTunes account (email) is being used by FIRST NAME LAST NAME's family. You will not have access to their account for shared purchases or Apple Music until it is removed from FIRST NAME's family.

I went into my iPad (first or second generation running iOS 9.3.5) where the ID is the only other place being used to stop family sharing or transfer the kids to another family or to stop sharing but there is no option for that under iCloud>Family Sharing.

Please help! Thank you.

Apple Support by e-mail or chat Work through the screens to get a chat option. You may need to pick a problem that is slightly different than yours to get a chat option.
