conflicting reports on storage

Received email that '...only have 908.5 mb storage left on iCloud.' iCloud.com says I have 27.86gb left. Checked this on same day. Which should I believe?

iMac 21.5" 4K, macOS 10.14

Check the email address of the sender of this email. It might be fake and phishing attempt.

Discrepancy in storage warning from email to device status I received an email indicating that I only have 1000 MB of storage on my iCloud account and need to upgrade.
