bluetooth not working

About a week ago I was listening to music on wireless earbuds and they just randomly disconnected and wouldn't reconnect. I had the same issue with my speaker, although oddly enough my Garmin watch was/is still connected. I imagine the issue is that about 6 weeks ago I dropped my phone in water, but the phone (iPhone SE) was/is working pretty much perfectly with the exception of the home button not working like 5% of the time (with the exception of this the phone is still working perfectly well).

No idea what is specifically causing this or how to fix it, I've tried turning both the phone and earbuds on and off, I tried connecting without wifi, I tried forgetting the device and reconnecting and while it can see that earbuds (Trekz Titanium if that matters) are trying to reconnect, when I click on it to connect it'll just give me the loading symbol for 2 minutes then stop. I even tried completely wiping my phone and then trying to reconnect to no avail

Any suggestions or ideas to what I could do? Or at least what the problem is beyond water damage (I imagine)

iPhone SE, iOS 12
