Apple Mail BCC quit working suddenly today on Mail V. 11.5. It causes a server error on ATT/Yahoo mail.
I reset server, reinstalled mail account, and still get the message
"Cannot send message using the server selected ----) I can send list mail in CC and To lists but not to BCC lists.
I use BCC for list mailings to keep recipients mail addresses private.
Any ideas?? ATT support was totally useless.

I'd put my money on it being an ATT/Yahoo server issue, quite frequent problems of varying nature.
Dos their WebMail work in a browser?
You're not stuck. Just because AT&T gives you free email doesn't mean you have to use that email account...
Outlook.com is free , gmail is free, and their privacy policies are improving. iCloud is free and you already have it.
You don't have to change your ISP to change your email provider.
This is a Yahoo problem, not an issue with the mail app.
Yahoo mail is garbage. It has been for many years. Dump them and switch to an email provider that wasn't completely compromised...
Yes. That's right. EVERY SINGLE Yahoo account was compromised. All of them. If you've had your account for more than a year, that includes yours.
web mail was working.. today (5/18) all is back to normal. ATT support is less than useless unless one has a PC...

Oops, I have to take that back. I used Earthlink's email in 1995. I forgot.
I would change due to several reasons the least fo which is their new so called privacy policy.. but since ATT is my ISP and they use OATH (formerly Yahoo) for all mail service I am kinda stuck. In the last month the amount of spam has increased dramatically which confirms your statement. In my area I have very limited ISP options.. ATT or COMCAST..This am (5/18) all is back to normal so it had to be a ATT or OATH server issue.
