Disk Not Ejected Properly

When I open my MAC I get hundreds, and I mean hundreds , of disc warnings even though I have not moved or touched any of the hard drives attached. I then have to spend five or ten minutes deleting them one by one. Is there a way of avoiding this?

Annoying "disk not ejected properly" So the last few months this has sure been getting annoying, come to my computer in the morning and insane amount "disk not ejected properly etc" in notifications, takes forever to close all them. Im running a 2019 imac with Monterey version 12.3.1. Been doing this for at least a month but sure has gotten insane lately, most likely since i updated to 12.3.1 Weird thing is I sure can't seem to find much out there info of this problem recently. In Energy saver my settings are bellow. Any thoughts greatly appreciated

my ssd external hard disc drops often without any reason and cannot be found in finder very often my external ssd disc disappear leaving eg Photoshop not working. What may be the problem? When my iMac is sleeping I may get 20 or mor warnings that I must disconnect the disc before shutting down.

External hard drivee Each time i turn off my Mac, my external hard drive (WD) disappears from my screen and become indescribable. I must take off its electric plug and connect again so it become ok . We made many testing with Western Digital and didn't find any problem . They sent me a new hard disk and it is not better ! I begin to think the problem come from the Mac ! ?? Somebody has an answer ? Thanks,

You could try different cables, or hub if you are using one. Some brands of drives are problematic.
