I am unable to use external bluetooth adapter in mac os.
I have windows 10 operating system in my macbook pro too and it's working fine in windows.
But when i switch to mac os. It's showing in system report, but unable to show in HCI controller selector.
Well, they only have a Windows® driver for it.
I've seen several BT adapters work in the past without drivers.
Might ask them if this one is Mac Compatible...
What does System Report>Bluetooth say?
That's the issue they didn't provide any driver for macos, only windows. but before buying this dongle i have seen 4-5 people reviews on product page that it's working in macos. now i am not aware how. can't ask them too. i tried everything, still no answer.
There's no system report > bluetooth. Bluetooth hardware no found error coming because maybe bluetooth hardware is damage. that's why i am trying to use usb dongle.

When i plug it, it shows system report > usb > JL AC60 . that's it. Is there any universal bluetooth driver for macos too ?
everything you connect to usb require a device driver of sorts
some drivers are build into the operating system some drivers one needs to install oneself
have you checked if the usb dongle manufacture has a driver for macos ?
though when I used a usb Bluetooth dongle in my mac to get Bluetooth version 4 support the os had the driver already.
