About 2 months ago I could not delete unwanted podcasts from my library using the normal steps I used for a couple of years.
They do disappear from my Ipod Classic but not my Library.
Any ideas?

Thanks tt2! I did change my setting from feed to saved and then changed my view from classic list to list.
I was then able to see that the podcasts were removed from my library.

Could you be using a view that shows items in the feed rather than local downloads? Perhaps a screenshot of what you see and the steps that you're trying to use would make things clearer.
