i received call from Applecare 1-800-275-2273. is this spam or real.

I received call from AppleCare I did not answer. Wanted me to call 1-800-275-2273. Is this spam or is this an Apple number. Said my iCloud had been hacked. Wanted me to call

Such calls are scams from criminals trying to steal your personal and financial information. They use phone number spoofing to pretend to be calling from a legitimate number.
