Rename home folder

I've already read the Apple support article on doing this, but it's still not crystal clear what I need to do given what I want to change and I obviously want to make sure. My admin user name is "First Last" and my home folder name is "first" (note the missing first capital letter). All I want to do is rename my home folder from "first" to "First". The support article is a little ambiguous regarding this. Thanks for any help.

Create another Admin user.

Log out of first and log into the new user account.

Rename /Users/first to /Users/First.

In Users & Groups, ctrl-click on user first and choose Advanced…

Change both the short user name and the home folder path to First and /Users/First.
