Need help unlocking my apple ID

I had an apple device back in 2013 but haven’t used one until now and I’m trying to log back into my old account since it had a few purchases on it. I remember the ID and password but it wants me to unlock my account by either sending out an email to me or doing security questions. I don’t recognize the email address apple wants to send the email to (ends with .be, don’t recall ever having an email with that) and when I try to request an email anyway it just says " Your request could not be completed because of an error. Try again later”. Waited a bit and tried again and still got the same error. When i tried to answer my security questions it asked for my birthday first then told me it was wrong so I cant even get to my security questions to see if I remember them. Is it possible to get my old account back?
