Developer Program
Was just wondering if any developers would invite me into their developer account. I’ve spoken to Apple in regards to this matter and I’m interested in getting the developer account just to surf around and see what is new.

I don't know what you mean by "looking around".
Download XCode from the app store - no developer account required - and you can "look around".
Then when you have an app you want to put in the app store, you can enroll for $99
