I wanted to confirm if I’m using my current family pan on Apple Music correctly.

I sent my sister and mum invitations through the invite family members option through Apple Music. I asked them to download the app beforehand and then accessed the text message invite on their phones to access the app. I had to login using my id so because of that they have to see my music in their library as well. Have I followed the right procedure?
