I’m noticing when I exit the Instagram app on my iPhone X that the screen record/ voice memo indicator (the clock being in a red bubble) is active, it’s just like a second flash, even though I’ve not given any permission to screen record or voice memo within the app & there’s no recorded media showing in my libraries.
Is this an invasion of privacy?
I don’t want to be screenshot or voice recorded thank you very much how do you stop this?

If you don't trust the app, uninstall it.

Thanks for your reply. I was under the impression that Apple was axing apps from their App Store that did this especially under the new privacy laws in Europe. I’m trying to figure out if they’re, Instagram, actually doing it or if it’s a glitch on the phone & if they are do Apple know about it?
Trying to figure out if it’s the app spying or a glitch on the phone. If it’s them spying then it’s against the EU privacy laws & should be removed from the App Store & users should be advised of its nefarious activity. If it’s a glitch in the phone, why is it happening?
