watchOS 5.2.1 move and exercise rings not moving after sw upgrade, stand ok

I upgraded my 42mm SBSS Series 3 to watchOS 5.2.1 last night, and the red and green activity rings are stubbornly stopped at zero; the blue ring is working fine. Not had this problem with any previous software upgrades.

If you have not done so yet, try a Hard Reset on the Apple Watch, might clear it up

To hard reset an Apple Watch:

Remove the Apple Watch from your wrist. (This is optional, but I recommend it.)
Press and hold the Digital Crown and side button simultaneously.
Hold until your screen is off and let go when you see an Apple logo.
