External Display (Viewsonic VG2755) not working with Mackbook Pro after upgrade to Mojave 10.14.5

I got a no signal issue with Viewsonic VG2755 external display after upgrading to Mojave 10.14.5. With Mojave 10.14.4 it was working ok, using a USB-C Thunderbolt cable.

It's not a hardware issue because I tested the Viewsonic VG2755 external Display and the same USB-C Thunderbolt cable using another device and it works ok.

I reboot the computer, I followed the instructions on this page: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201177 without success.

The Apple support person told me to do two resets (SMC and NVRAM) and then booting in safe mode but this issue still continues.

I did this procedure two times without success.

I think it's a Display software driver issue. Because I got this issue after upgrading from Mojave 10.14.4 to Mojave 10.14.5

At the end, the Apple support person didn't find any solution to the issue and request to me to send my feedback to: http://apple.com/feedback

The feedback service is just a black hole where you can voice your concerns about your device but nobody will contact you to follow-up the issue.

The Case ID for this issue is: 100815799939

Any ideas how to fix this issue ?

Thanks,

Rodolfo.
