I'm using LG 34wk95u monitor with my MBP and it was all good until today when all of the sudden external monitor view starts being streched. I haven't changed resolution or anything, settings are same as were before, but view on external monitor is way too stretched. Is there a way to fix this, it's driving me crazy :)
External monitor resolution is 3840x2160.

I understand that the image on your external display is stretched. I would start by a reset of the NVRAM on the computer, see this support article:
Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
If that doesn't work, create a new user and test the issue. See this support article for how to do that:

Thanks for getting back to us. If those articles didn't help, I would recommend taking a look at this article, it is sounding like there might be an overscan/underscan issue. This article will explain this and how to adjust it.

This didn't help either. View's not overscaned or underscaned but stretched, like it's horizontal resolution is too low for vertical one in order to maintain the aspect ratio suitable for monitor (21:9) intended ratio.
In general, this is not helping either.
