I've just updated to Mojave OS10.14.5 and tried to change my screen saver, but the option to use an album from Photos has disappeared..?
The sources are now Flowers, Landscapes, Colours, Sierras, or a folder.

My Photos library is 170 gB so I keep it on an external drive.
It was on the external drive yesterday and it worked as a screen saver.
I updated this morning to 10.14.5 and the option was not there..
I restarted my Mac but that didn't fix it, so I posted my message.
but I've just restarted Photos again and it spent 5 minutes updating itself and now the option has come back - i.e. it has fixed itself!

Open Photos and then open Preferences is the photos library being used as the System Photos Library, if the button is greyed out it is being used. For the library to be available for use as a screensaver the library needs to be on your Macs internal boot drive.
