I have noticed some “dents” under the glass of the watch, so it has nothing to do with hitting anything. The watch is brand new but when you look at it turned off in direct light you can see 2 little chips on the OLED screen.
I would like to know what this could be and if it’s common, as I have read about it online but there is no official post regarding this matter.
On the attached pictures you can see one of those little dents.

Thanks, but no. I bought it in November although I still have my warranty. I purchased it at the Apple store.
I am not even sure this isn’t something related to the assembly of the watches. It could be something all of them have. It’s just visible in direct light and at certain angles.
Your Apple Watch Series 4 will still be covered by Apple’s warranty for manufacturing defects. If you have any concerns Contact Support (link) and arrange to get the watch examined by Apple as a potential warranty claim.

Again: only noticeable when turned off or at a black screen and with direct light. Bathroom

Take in to your local Apple Store. Get them to examine it.
If it is less than 14 days since you purchased it you can return it.
I have the Series 4 Watch and have not noticed any flaws.
