MacBook Air won’t complete update
My MacBook Air did a software update, rebooted, but is now stuck on the update screen: Apple icon with update bar below. It would not complete the installation process. What can I do?

I understand that after updating the macOS on your MacBook Air, the computer I would first recommend starting by restarting the computer. That should prompt the update to finish.
