Click on the wi-fi symbol in the top right
Go to advanced
Then the proxies tab
If the SOCKS proxy is selected, deselect and apply
You may have to also create a new network connection/Run an anti-malware software

when i try to send a message it starts to send then error appears which says online status P68- IMAP.mail.me.com on the default port timed out. Or another will say cant sent mail. And on connection doctor it shows mail received connected ,and outgoing mail offline.
im using iCloud mail, this happened on the 9th may thanks Chris
Yeah so what you need to do now is create a new network location
Click on the wifi symbol - open network preferences - click on location - edit location - plus symbol - create name
Then click on Advanced - TCP/IP - Renew DHCP Lease
Also download Malwarebytes for Mac, run a scan of your computer, once done restart
Then you should be good to go
It was set on socks proxy so i deselected and applied and this is message and server settings
Done what you said still couldn’t send email malware found 14 problems
this message came up
What happens when you try? Error messages? What email provider?
That p68-imap.mail.me.com does not sound like a legitimate server, try deleting and readding the account, or signing out/in of icloud.
