Battery problem?
I have been using my macbook pro 13 Inch, Mid 2012 for a while now and it never had any problems.
However, when my 60W magsafe charger burned, I decided to get a new one off of ebay.
After using it, I experienced some problems. The charger would continue to charge but turn off again or it would not charge all together. When the computer finally booted the charger immediatly stopped charging. When it stopped, it would immediatly start to beep. Then the magsafe charger always kept turning off and on.
Then when I charged it again, the light that indicated the computer is on kept on turning off and on and when I took off the baseplate on the bottom, the fan kept stuttering.
When it did hit the home screen, it was stuck as the green led and did not charge. I then noticed that the charger looked like counterfeit. It did not have any signification of the manufacturer or any signs it was made by apple. It did not have the apple logo either.
The computer itself it slow, especially at the start up screen after I cleaned everything inside numerous times.
Could these symptoms be because of the charger or the battery? Do I need the battery replaced, the magsafe port, or something inside the computer?
EDIT: I even tried resetting the SMC too with no success. I dont have the tools to remove the battery also.
Thank You
