HomePod Set up question for multiple people in the house.

Here’s the current – my homePod will only make phone calls

from my phone, set calendar, and updated list, if my phone is on the network.

What I would like – to have the HomePod be phone agnostic,

or at least toggle between me and my wife’s connection. I would like her to

make phone calls, update calendar’s, and create new lists and updates lists

when I’m not at home.

Here’s the set up. We have one homePod. My phone is a Xs XL and

my wife’s is a 6s, soon to be an Xs. Our icloud set up is three different ID’S.

Mine as the Organizer, my wife’s as a parent, and my son as a kid. Note they

all have different icloud ID’s. I don’t want to merge everything onto my id

because we have different contacts and different personal settings that I want

to keep separate. But in the end of the day I just want everyone in my family

to utilize the HomePod with the same access to features even if I’m not there.

Is this possible? Can you help?

HomePod, iOS 12

No. It runs on one Apple ID and communicates (and is associated) with one phone (that set it up)
