lost my iPhone, wondering about pictures

HI, i lost my phone on saturday night, i'm getting a new phone tomorrow but i'm just curious if pictures i have taken this weekend, if i will be able to get them back somehow? if they will transfer to my new phone or not

iPhone 7, iOS 12

You can download the pictures from your iCloud accounts to the new iPhone by following the steps below.

Open iCloud.com in your PC browser
Enter your Apple ID to login
Click on Photos
All your iCloud Photos should be displayed. Select pictures that you want to transfer
Click on the cloud icon with down arrow in the top right corner. You can find the downloaded photos in the Downloads folder on your computer.

if you set them up to sync to icloud then you can login from a computer to www.icloud.com and check if they are there
