MAC address for ethernet missing

The new office I'm in requires I register my mac book pro's Ethernet MAC ADDRESS in order connect other than wifi. When I unlock the system pref's lock and go to ethernet under the advanced tab, then to hardware tab...the location for the MAC ADDRESS is simple missing. I've attached picture. I am connecting through a USB-C adapter made by "pepper jobs." Any help is most appreciated! Also need to mention that Firewall is turned "on" under Security & Privacy" system pref.

Did you have the USB dongle attached to your mac when you took that screenshot from the Advanced area of System Preferences->Network? I am guessing not...

Repeat with the dongle attached, as otherwise your mac has no way to determine its MAC Address.

If you have it connected and still no MAC Address shows, then follow KiltedTim's advice and contact the manufacturer.
